Write a memo to Dr. Blalock by focusing on the following:

• What did you learn in the library visit about the EBSCO Discovery tool?

• How was the library visit helpful in understanding research and your own process?

  • Use textual evidence from the reading..

• How does the library's research session differ from the research you did for the first Discovery Log entry?  What is useful about a Google search? What is useful about an EBSCO Discovery search? 

• What new research practices do you think you have learned so far this semester?

• How do you ask a Librarian for help? Where can you find out how to contact them?

• Explain the differences between types of sources you have encountered.  Pick a couple of sources you have found so far and explain the purpose, audience, genre, currency, and credibility of that source.
