What Are We Doing Today?

Warm Up 

On your running document for Warm Up's, respond to the following. This is based on your experience at FYS!: 

  • What went well?

  • Did you feel prepared? 

  • What do you wish you knew about the event before you started preparing?

  • What could I have done better?

  • What did you think overall?

Final Portfolio 

Your final portfolio will be due at the end of day on Friday, December 6th! There is a rubric draft posted in Blackboard which I will be using to access the final portfolio.

For the Final RO, be sure to be looking at your midterm portfolio rubric. 

  • Be sure that you are incorporating evidence from all of the LC B courses. 

  • For the pieces of evidence you chose, reflect on those by addressing the choices you made in that particular assignment and why or why were those not appropriate. 

  • For the connections to the readings in the RO & Discovery Logs: 

    • how are you seeing the reading concepts in the choices you made for that particular assignment?​

    • What choices did you make in the research and how does that connect to the FIL concept?

Exam 4 Essay Prep--Discovery Log #9

One thing that stood out to us on Exam III was the skill to address all of the individual parts and to connect to the essay prompt.

We will be doing a practice run through of an essay. Click here to access the outline. A draft of this will be due by Writing & Rhetoric class on Tuesday, December 3rd. 

​

Professor Marquez and I will be combining class on that day. Be sure that you have a solid draft of this essay and your Final RO.
