  • If you missed your conference on Monday, then you missed the quiz!

  • If you do not turn it in at the beginning of class, I will not accept it!

What am I asking you to do? 

  • You need to make an appointment with your advisor. Schedule the actual appointment for the time frame when you (based on hours) are able to register. ​

  • You also need to make an appointment with your peer mentor. Ask Edie legit questions. Do not waste her time or yours! â€‹

Due by 10.11

  • Make your appointments by 10.11. In Blackboard, go to the Discussion forum: Advisor & Peer Mentor Appointment. In the thread, put in the date, time, name of the advisor, and college. Also put in the questions you will ask Edie and the date & time you plan to see her. 

Due by 11.25

  • When you go see your advisor, take the packet I have given you. Fill it out and have the advisor sign it! Turn this into me asap. I will not accept one without a signature.

Reminders...

  • Need guidance with your Connecting the Past to the Present Project? Come by and see Professor Dre and myself during student hours!

    • Learning Community E Extension Policy: In order to receive an extension, you need to email me and your Writing and Rhetoric professor by Saturday October 5th at 2pm. In your email to both of us, you must provide a reason for your needing the extension and propose a new date/ time you will have your final project completed. It is your responsibility to email us by the deadline. Requests received after the deadline will not be accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • Your next History Reading Quiz is scheduled for Wednesday, October 9th- Documentary History reading entitled, "Power of the Court".

    • You may bring in one 3x5 index card to help you complete your quiz!
