Today's Goals

  • Demonstrate their ability to locate, read, evaluate, select and use (integrate) effectively information from appropriate sources with their own ideas

  • Explain what they have learned from being a novice in new writing situations, and describe how these experiences, which might include failure, contribute to their willingness to accept new challenges as a writer

Conferences

Instead of meeting in class today, we will be having conferences. I have emailed the link to the sign up sheet.

Be sure that you come with ideas of what you are researching and any specific questions you have about the project!

For Wednesday's Class: 

  • Be sure to complete reading "From Questions to a Problem" for Wednesday's discussion. 

  • Respond to the following prompt by Wednesday's class. Write the following on the running document for your Warm Up's. 

    • ​What is the difference between a practical problem and a conceptual problem? What kind of problem are you working with/researching at the moment for your semester project? How might that affect the way you search for information?
