Today's Goal

  • Reflect and integrate learning from learning community courses, including development of critical thinking skills, social and/or personal responsibility.

Warm Up

For our warm up today, we are going to play a quiz game! Partner up with at least one other person.  You can get into groups of up to three if that makes it easier.  (The following quiz game is based on Topic Review Guide #9 and the Text Quizzes.)

  • Step 1: Make sure one team member has a phone access to the internet.

  • Step 2: In your browser, head to the site: kahoot.it

  • Step 3: Enter the pin number that is on the screen in the front of the room

  • Step 4: Enter a team name. Make up something easy!

  • Step 5: Enter player's nicknames.

  • Step 6: Begin the quiz game! You can use notes and work together....

A. What to include? Each presentation must address the following:

  • research area (context)

  • what change are you advocating for?

  • audience

  • genre

B. Each presentation must be 5 minutes long. You will present on one of the genres you've worked on. This should be a final show off...a completed draft!

C. What should you prepare or bring?

  • Presentation?

  • Food?

  • talk through your genre...do not read it to us

    • what was your process in writing the genre?​

    • what does each section/aspect target?
