Step 2: When you are done, write a reflection based on the following on your running document for Warm-Up's:

  • What is the name of the game you played? What was the game?

  • How many times did you succeed?

  • How many times did you fail? How did you overcome these setbacks?

Reading Discussion

Readings:

Naming What We Know Threshold Concept 4.0

Framework for Information Literacy's "Searching as Strategic Exploration"

Groups:

Each group needs to discuss the importance of their assigned sections. Pick at least one quote and example to discuss with the class. Add group notes to the Google running document!

  1. In your groups, take time to write down at least two sentences from the text that you found confusing.

  2. As a group, try and break down these sentences into smaller parts and try restating the sentences as a questions.

  3. Once you have a question for each sentence. Try discussing and answering the questions.

  4. Make sure your note taker writes down the questions and the answers you all come up with in the Google doc.
